Thanks a lot, for your patience. It tastes like a plum. I would think that it is because you.

Does anyone know why you don't use real in english as a comparative? Are these sentences correct ? So, in theory, fitter and fittest.
How do you use the comparative form in the adjective shy?
(1) what does it taste like ? (2) what tastes sour ? I have never heard proner, but according to the rules i was taught 50 years ago proner should be fine as a comparative. Quickly is, in fact, an adverb, and thus you must always say more quickly. quicklier is not a valid word.
Dirty is an adjective but dirtier also sounds better than more. Since the comparative more and the superlative the most come from french and latin grammar, they're used with words of french and latin roots, which happen to. We don't say this is realer (more real) than that. More / most free or freer / freest.
(3) what tastes sourer than a plum ?
Of more than one syllable, and with all of more than two syllables, [more ___] is the normal mode of forming the comparative.
