Is the keelback good as a combat ship? Because her speed and handling is low and she’s a big target she’s already. Just bought it cause i was interested in mining but after trying it i get extremely bored compared to bounty hunting / piracy.

But i would like build advice. Need a setup for keelback, currently for trading missions etc. The keelback in the current game is a bit underwhelming probably as a means of compensating for the additional firepower of the fighter (the fighters are huge fun to fly btw),.

Doesn't haul a whole lot, but doesn't need to run from a fight if bugged by pirates. For exo carrier launched i still use my keelback, for heading out into the black solo, the mando is amazing but i would take the cobra v over it any day. Spitballing, but for the keelback, it seems to be the combat hauler. In my infinite quest to try to like the keelback, i once again find myself outfitting one.
The keelback runs very cold from what i remember so at least you shouldn’t have any heat issues. Any reccomends for heavy trading?
